To Our Valued Customers,
As we continue to monitor the impacts of COVID-19, the health and well-being of our staff, clients, and communities remains our top priority. We are committed to supporting Canadians as much as possible with their health and wellness needs during this challenging time. To ensure that our team and customers remain safe and protected, we have adapted and continue to implement safety measures.

Safety Measures Taken

  • Temperature is checked for all employees when they enter the premise every morning to make sure everyone is in good health. They are also required to use hand sanitizers before entry to their areas
  • All employees are provided with fresh face masks daily and are required to wear them at all times
  • All employees in production are also required to wear gloves all the time when handling products
  • All visitors are required to wear masks and use hand sanitizer
  • Hand sanitizers are available all around the workplace and they are regularly refilled. The hand sanitizers we use are manufactured by us under license from Health Canada.
  • We regularly clean and disinfect surfaces in our work place, especially areas that people touch a lot. Paper tissues are available at our facility.
  • Everyone has proper access to the washroom where they can wash their hands with soap and water frequently.

Preventive Measures for In-Store Shopping

Our Ontario stores have implemented social distancing measures for customers. All our employees have been provided with Personal Protective Equipment and Health Canada authorized hand sanitizers and disinfectant to ensure that the stores are properly sanitized. Store hours have also been adjusted.

You may shop online at www.shinghingfood.com and choose from several Home Delivery methods. Our warehouse and shipping staff are still here to deliver you what you need in an timely manner.

PRODUCT TERMS & CONDITIONS SET FORTH BY SHING HING FOOD

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (THE "TERMS") ARE TO BE READ TOGETHER WITH THE APPLICABLE PURCHASE ORDER OR INVOICE.

The following Terms govern the sale by Shing Hing Food (collectively, "Seller" or "we" or "us") to you ("Customer" or "you") of the products and services (the "Products") outlined in any applicable purchase order or invoice. Our contract details are set out herein, on this website (the "Website") and on the purchase order each of which forms part of the contract. By entering into or accepting a purchase order or invoice, pursuant to the Website, Customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these Terms.

Use of this Website

The design of this Website and all text, graphics, information, content, and other material displayed on or that can be downloaded from this Website are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws and may not be used except as permitted in these Terms and Conditions or with prior written permission of the owner of such material. Pricing

Online pricing and availability – prices, specifications and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Any typographical, photographic, or specification error in products or pricing is subject to correction.

All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

Payment Options

We accept the following forms of credit card or debit payments: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit & Master Card Debit. During checkout after you have entered your shipping information, you will be asked for the type of payment you wish to use. We provide a secure SSL session to protect your privacy including credit card information.

Order Processing & Shipping

Order processing may take between 1 - 4 business days. Shipping and handling fees are subject to weight, dimensions and locations. Delivery times will depend on the specific order, method of shipping, and address location.   Depending on the carrier, shipping time may take between 2 – 7 business days for packages to arrive anywhere in Canada. Outside of Canada may take longer. Shipping costs may vary due to promotional events or other reasons without notice.

When an order is placed, it will be shipped to the address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions of the designated carrier. All purchases from this Website are made pursuant to a shipment contract.  As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this Website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible to notify us promptly (within expected delivery time) if you want us to file a claim with the assigned carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments.

We are not responsible for any taxes, duties, tariffs, custom restrictions, or any other regulations administered by countries outside of Canada. It is the customer’s responsibility to check with their Customs office for prohibited items.

If the package is seized by Customs for any reason, and we do not receive the package back, we will not issue you a refund or credit. If we do receive the package back after being seized and the products are in perfect resellable condition, we will credit you the product cost. The customer will be responsible for the shipping charges and a re-stocking fee of 15% will be charged on such returns where it is rejected by customs and deemed as illegal, or unclaimed.

Country not listed? We have chosen not to ship to some countries for a variety of reasons (ie. our carriers do not deliver there, we have products that cannot be easily shipped to these countries or we have had a high rate of fraudulent orders coming from these countries). We appreciate your interest in Shing Hing Food, and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Backorders

We regularly stock every item we carry. Occasionally, we may run out of certain products. In the event that one of your items is out of stock, we will contact you via the email you have provided with the order with the option to select a replacement item. If we do not hear back within 24 hours, we will proceed to refund that portion of the order and ship the remainder of the order to not delay your shipment. Should you be willing to wait for the back order to be shipped later, we can proceed with shipment of the items available in stock to avoid delay. If your order consists of only one item, we will notify you via email if your item is out of stock.

Damages and Shortages

The customer is responsible for checking the goods for shortage or signs of damage upon receipt of shipment. Claims for goods damaged in transit must be reported to the carrier and the customer must inform Shing Hing Food of damage within 24 hours after receiving products. Investigation on damage will follow and return authorization will be considered for credit by us. Products exceeding 14 days from date of purchase will not be accepted for return, credit or free product in lieu of credit.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Exchange on perishable food products will only be accepted within 48 hours provided that the product is unopened and in its original package with receipt. Dried Goods (non-perishable) & Health Products may be considered for return for a refund or exchange only if order was placed within 14 days, and if returned to us in its original condition and packaging. All shipping costs related to returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective. If we ship you an item other than what you ordered, do not open the product or it will void your right to exchange or return it. Please contact us so we can exchange or return it for the correct item. Please contact us for authorization to exchange or to return it for the correct item. All return or exchange requests require prior authorization from Shing Hing Food and the reason for return will be studied on a case-by-case basis. Only those products authorized for return will be considered for credit. Claims will not be granted unless acknowledged by the Vendor. Any return authorization requests received by the Vendor is not an automatic guarantee of credit.
